On the occasion of the International Day of Families, the branch of Social Affairs Ministry in Makkah, organized a family forum on Tuesday 8/8 in cooperation with the National Society for Human Rights in Jeddah and Protection association. The forum included many events, the most prominent was the scientific lectures, which highlighted many of the urgent issues, that care about the family in different aspects and updates (social, psychological, educational, security and legal), where those axes were discussed by specialists and experts in the above issues of Jeddah police, and the education department and other government institutions.

This forum is part of the meetings that the region branch is keen on to highlight in the local, regional and global events and activities, regarding social aspects, and an extension of the branch efforts to highlight the family role, and importance in building society bricks, which strives to provide everything that would promote and raise the family, and assist it in carrying out its roles in the advancement of individuals, which will be reflected on the progress and development of community. Also, it worth mentioning that this forum was sponsored by Director General of Makkah region branch Mr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Tawy, and the presence of many leaders and managers of government agencies in the region, and also researchers and those interested in family issues
