The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has completed the first phase of the "Professional Verification" service as part of the "Professional Accreditation" program. This initiative covers 128 countries and is carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through a unified electronic platform supervised by the Ministry.

This service, in accordance with Cabinet Decision No. 195, aims to ensure that expatriate workers have reliable academic qualifications and the necessary practical experience and skills required by the Saudi labor market before entering the Kingdom. It focuses on highly skilled professions and verifies the alignment of scientific qualifications with educational levels and fields according to approved standards, such as the Saudi Standard Classification of Occupations and the Saudi Standard Classification of Educational Levels and Specializations. The process is fully automated through a unified platform, providing simplified and fast procedures.

The Ministry is continuing to implement the "Professional Verification" plan to cover 160 countries worldwide for all professions, including engineering and health professions, in coordination with relevant government agencies. This service aims to prevent unqualified expatriate workers from entering the labor market and to improve the quality of data on qualifications and skills for expatriate workers.

Through this service, the Ministry seeks to regulate the labor market, enhance job and service quality, and boost productivity levels.
