The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development Announces Violations in the Recruitment Sector during the First Quarter

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development continues its efforts to develop and enhance the quality of the recruitment sector in the Kingdom and to protect the rights of all stakeholders. Today, it announced the results of its inspection rounds and monitoring of recruitment offices and companies in the first quarter of 2024.

The Ministry reported 24 violations by employers, including providing domestic worker services to others or allowing them to work for their account. Additionally, licenses for 70 recruitment offices were revoked for failing to meet the minimum performance requirements based on recruitment standards and conditions. Violations also included non-compliance with providing accommodation centers according to specified standards and requirements, as well as non-correction of several violations of recruitment rules.

 At the same time, a company and 8 recruitment offices were suspended due to observations and violations of recruitment practices, as well as delays in resolving complaints and refunding amounts to clients. Additionally, there were violations of accommodation standards and requirements. 

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development urges employers and recruitment offices to adhere to recruitment practices and avoid violations to safeguard the rights of all contractual parties.

At the same time, the Ministry emphasized the importance of reporting any violations in the recruitment sector to the support hotline number:  920002866, through the Musaned application available on smartphones.  

This comes within the Ministry's efforts to enhance the efficiency of the recruitment process, promote transparency, and protect all relevant parties, as well as automate recruitment services through the Musaned platform under the supervision of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
