Al-Humaidan, Ethiopian ambassador explore labor cooperation

H.E. Vice Minister of Labor and Social Development Ahmed Al-Humaidan met on Monday with the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia H.E. Amin Abdulkadir alongside his accompanying delegation.

At the meeting that took place at the ministry’s headquarters, the two sides discussed several issues of common interest and ways to enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries.

They explored activation of the previously-signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of recruiting Ethiopian workers, licensing Ethiopian recruitment offices and providing rehabilitation and training of workers. Additionally, both officials were engaged in talks to address a number of labor issues and ways to resolving them.

The meeting was also attended by Adnan Al-Naeem, deputy minister for customer service and labor relations.
