His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, praised the efforts of the workers and volunteers during this year’s Hajj season, and the work they are doing to facilitate and harness the performance of the pilgrims for their rituals with ease and reassurance, noting that these efforts come in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership - may Allah protect them - which required Providing support and facilitating many services to pilgrims, through integration and cooperation with all governmental and private sectors.

Today, Monday, June 17, 2024 AD, His Excellency Al-Rajhi visited the main headquarters for the operations of the human resources and social development system, during which he was briefed on the progress of work and the efforts of the Ministry’s oversight teams to enhance the compliance of establishments operating in Hajj with the work system and executive regulations, and the most prominent initiatives and services, and the most prominent initiatives, services and tasks of volunteer work teams during the Hajj season. inside the Mosque of Mecca and the holy sites.

The Ministry has launched a number of services and initiatives as part of its efforts to serve the pilgrims, workers and establishments during Hajj season, including enabling seasonal work for establishments and individuals through the “Ajeer Al-Hajj” service and the “Seasonal Visa” service. The Ministry's supervisory committees, in partnership with the relevant authorities, continuously follow up on the provisions of the labor law, launched an initiative to combat begging in the season in multiple languages and supervised through the initiative of children's hospitality centers more than 22 centers in Mecca and the holy sites, in addition to several volunteer and service paths to serve pilgrims.

Notably, these initiatives carry on the work of the human resources and social development system, which aims to support pilgrims and facilitate the Hajj rituals by increasing volunteer opportunities and improving service efficacy.
