The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced its partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the World Bank as scientific partners in the International Labor Market Conference. The conference, the first of its kind, is scheduled to take place in Riyadh from December 13 to 14. These partnerships aim to enhance the conference's status and its role in bringing decision-makers and stakeholders together under one umbrella.

Mr. Guy Ryder, the Director-General of the International Labour Organization, is expected to participate as a keynote speaker in the Labor Market Conference. Mr. Ryder will present his vision and analysis of the future of international labor markets, highlighting the challenges and opportunities facing the global labor market at present.

The conference is the largest gathering of its kind, bringing together labor ministers, executives, and specialists from various countries, as well as heads of international organizations, business leaders, and major investors. It features 40 sessions with 150 speakers and the participation of around 2000 attendees from 40 countries.

The participation of these keynote speakers is expected to enrich the conference by providing valuable insights for participants on current and future challenges facing the global labor market, promoting cooperation and exchange in this field among participating countries and institutions. The conference focuses on eight main tracks in its sessions: global trends in the labor market, skills and productivity, new work patterns, policies and legislation related to labor markets, the impact of technological advancements on the future of labor markets, experiences in restructuring the labor market, equality, and the work environment.
