Third Dialogue Workshop Held for the 14th Social Dialogue Forum 2024

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Center for Intercivilizational Communication, held the third bilateral workshop for the 14th Social Dialogue Forum 2024 under the title "Social Dialogue for a Promising and Balanced Labor Market. The workshop was attended by His Excellency the Undersecretary for Labor Market Policies, Engineer Muhannad Al-Issa, Head of the Government Delegation and Government Delegation Representatives, Dr. Abdulghani Al-Sayegh, Chairman of the National Committee for the Labor Market, and Employer Delegation Representatives.

The workshop's agenda encompassed discussions on the forum's key themes for this year, which centered on addressing the challenges of sustaining localization within the private sector, enhancing and expanding training and employment support programs, and fostering an environment that encourages, supports, and protects fair competition in the labor market. Additionally, the workshop participants delved into discussions and proposed recommendations for the development of the "Qawa" platform, refining the process of documenting labor contracts outside the Kingdom, and building upon the outcomes of previous dialogues.
This workshop serves as a crucial platform for dialogue and discussion on labor market-related issues and strengthening partnerships among the three production parties, in line with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development's endeavors to advance the labor market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
