The launch of the first fourteenth social dialogue workshops

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication, launched the first workshop of the Social Dialogue Forum in its fourteenth session, on Tuesday, 24 Shaaban 1445 AH, corresponding to March 5, 2024, in the presence of the three production parties, at the center's headquarters in Riyadh.

The session began with a speech by His Excellency the Undersecretary for Labor Market Policies, Mr. Muhannad bin Ahmed Al-Issa, who greeted the participating production parties and expressed the leaders of the Ministry's full support to improve the social dialogue mechanisms and allow the "three production parties" to engage in dialogue and negotiation in order to reach opportunities and proposals that support the market's development, and addressing its most important issues.

His Excellency the Deputy Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Asiri, also delivered his welcoming speech to the participants, pointing out the Center’s strategic role in enabling dialogue at the national level.

This workshop is the first of several that will be conducted this year prior to the beginning of the fourteenth Social Dialogue Forum, which is regarded as one of the most significant events concerned with discussing issues of the Saudi labor market and its development.

Aiming to balance the interests of all parties and promote the labor market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Social Dialogue Forum is a significant event that fosters constructive communication between the three production parties.
