Within the framework of its efforts to enable seasonal work for establishments and individuals wishing to work during this year's Hajj season 1445 AH, The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has launched the "Ajeer Al-Hajj" service and the "Seasonal Visa" service.

“Ajeer Al-Hajj” service provides establishments with the ability to issue work permits and employ Saudis and residents temporarily, and allows them to display job vacancies during the Hajj season through Bab Ajeer, and allows job seekers to review and apply for these jobs.

The service seeks to achieve a number of objectives, including enhancing the flexibility of the workforce and raising its efficiency in the market, providing flexible work solutions, and reducing dependence on external recruitment. The service is available electronically in a simplified form for establishments and individuals through the platform's website. It is worth noting that the number of establishments benefiting from the service reached 924 establishments, and 11,715 permits were issued.

The "seasonal visas" service also provides the opportunity for establishments operating during Hajj season to cover their needs of workers and contribute to serving the pilgrims, as the Ministry worked from an early date to issue seasonal visas for establishments on easy terms. The number of seasonal visas issued reached 42,853 seasonal work visas for a number of professions in various fields. The Ministry's supervisory committees, in partnership with the relevant authorities, continuously follow up and ensure that the establishments operating during Hajj season apply the requirements and provisions of the regulations for seasonal temporary work visas, and their compliance with the regulations and instructions.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development had previously held several meetings in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, which were attended by all establishments working during the Hajj season, with the goal of offering support, assistance, and explanations on all aspects of seasonal work.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has carried out a number of field tours to monitor establishments and follow up on the provisions of the labor law and its regulations in Makkah and the holy sites.
