The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development wraps up its participation in the LEAP 24 conference

This evening, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development concluded its participation in the activities of the third edition of the largest technical conference “LEAP 2024”, which witnessed the Ministry launching a number of digital products and services aimed at enhancing the digital transformation in the Ministry and facilitating the services provided to beneficiaries, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, in the presence of His Excellency the Assistant for Shared Services, Mr. Ismail Al-Ghamdi, and His Excellency the Governor of the Digital Government Authority, Engineer Ahmed bin Muhammad Al- Suwaiyan.

His Excellency Engineer Ismail bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, Assistant Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Shared Services, stated that the Ministry has improved the digital transformation of its services not only at the level of government agencies in the Kingdom, but also globally, and that the Ministry's participation in this significant technical event confirms the Ministry's constant and continuous keenness to develop an integrated digital system that helps beneficiaries have a unique and distinctive experience.

The Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation, Eng. Faisal bin Ahmed Bakhashwain, indicated that the Ministry's participation in this year's LEAP Conference to review its digital projects and their use of best technical practices and to enhance and consolidate the positive image of the Ministry's efforts as one of the leading bodies in the field of digital transformation, pointing out that the Ministry has enhanced its services by providing more than 1,000 automated digital services, and the launch of 300 new automated services by the end of 2024.

Throughout the conference, the Ministry's pavilion welcomed numerous dignitaries and notable individuals in addition to a sizable number of attendees and interested parties. They were briefed on the Ministry's innovations, numerous digital products, and the most recent cutting-edge solutions and services that keep up with the most recent advancements in technology. They also experienced a variety of thought-provoking interactive experiences through the application of AI technologies.

The Ministry launched a unified system to support the social development, family advice, social specializations, and family protection systems as part of its participation in the conference. A number of workshops were organized in addition to the inauguration and launch of the empowerment platform, the "Volunteer with Your Expertise " initiative, and establishment file management services.

“Volunteer with Your Expertise” initiative attracted participants from Their Excellencies and experts. To transfer their experiences, and invest their expertise in the field of digital transformation.

The Ministry inked four agreements with regional and global tech firms. The Saudi Telecom Company (STC) and the Ministry signed a memorandum of agreement. Memorandums of understanding were also signed with Alibaba Cloud, Microsoft Arabia, and other organizations with the following goals in mind: to improve technical cooperation in data analysis, self-learning, artificial intelligence, security and privacy solutions, software and service development, and other related fields; to discuss strategic partnership opportunities for specific products and services in the Kingdom; to document and coordinate the needs of the Ministry and its affiliated agencies in the various fields of technology and information security; and to provide business development and technical consulting services.

Noteworthy is the fact that "LEAP 2024," which was organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the "Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones", "Tahaluf" Company, an the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, or "Monsha'at," the establishments' partner, all of which under the motto "New Horizons"  brought together over 1,000 local and international technology companies, as well as over 1,000 experts and speakers from 180 different countries. In addition to attracting technology investments in the region, this conference enhances the Kingdom's standing as a hub for innovation and technology. It is also considered a crucial axis in the local and global process of digital transformation and symbolizes a powerful platform for professionals, startups, investors, and interested parties.
