The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development applauds the Cabinet’s decision to approve the establishment of the National Center for Inspection and Oversight

His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi, applauded the decision of Cabinet headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques -the protection of Allah be upon him - to establish the National Center for Inspection and Oversight (NCIO), which aims to coordinate the efforts of inspection and oversight work in government agencies.

His Excellency expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the sagacious leadership for approving the establishment of NCIO, which will enhance the coordination of joint work of inspection and oversight with the relevant authorities, and develop oversight mechanisms and procedures that in turn will have positive impact in unification of efforts and improvement of the work environment. His Excellency also praised the unlimited support, attention, and keenness the Saudi Arabia receives from sagacious leadership to ensure the regulation and development of the appeal of Saudi market as well as the encouraging decisions issued in this regard. 

It is noteworthy that NCIO is in charge of many competencies, some of which are:  Establishing procedures that ensure the performance of the oversight role with transparency and integrity; reviewing the mechanisms for formation of committees which are the wheel of objections; launching and implementing periodic campaigns in cooperation with relevant government agencies. The NCIO work will also provide support in raising the efficiency of oversight roles as well as raising the compliance rate by means of using the latest technical tools that enhances the competency of the labor market and improves the organizational environment in line with the programs objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
