The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced the opening of participation for the third edition of the "Work Excellence Award" for private sector establishments. The registration is open from today until September 20, 2023. The award is one of the Ministry's initiatives to honor outstanding efforts of establishments in various fields, encourage the adoption of exceptional work practices, and promote compliance with the standards of an ideal work environment. By doing so, the Ministry aims to enhance competitiveness and motivate the workforce to be part of such distinguished establishments.

In the third edition of the award, the Ministry has introduced a new category called the "CEO Track" with the aim of honoring and motivating CEOs of private sector establishments to contribute to the creation of innovative work models that enhance performance indicators in the labor market, in line with the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030. This new track seeks to recognize and encourage CEOs' efforts in leading their organizations towards achieving the goals set forth by the Saudi Vision 2030.

The third edition of the Work Excellence Award includes four tracks for the private sector, namely: "Localization Track," "Work Environment Track," "Skills and Training Track," and "CEO Track." These four tracks encompass a total of 36 awards. These tracks were chosen due to their strategic importance in promoting localization, providing employment opportunities for male and female citizens, raising awareness among establishments, and motivating them to adhere to distinguished work environment systems and standards that enhance competitiveness. Additionally, the tracks encourage the workforce to work in private sector establishments, stimulate investment in the development of national human resources, increase employee retention rates, and promote their career advancement.

All establishments that meet the criteria and standards for the award will be nominated electronically. Employees in these establishments will have the opportunity to vote and select their preferred establishment through the official website of the award: [click here]. Through this step, the Ministry aims to achieve the highest standards of transparency and fairness in awarding the prize and to fulfill its main objectives.

It is worth mentioning that in the previous edition of the "Work Excellence Award," more than 10,000 establishments competed for 24 awards across three main tracks: "Localization Track," "Work Environment Track," and "Skills and Training Track." Over 200,000 employees participated in the survey to nominate establishments that met the criteria and standards for the award.
