The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development for Social Security Ibrahim Al-Mubarak said that the recent amendments to the executive regulations of the social security system are commensurate with the development directions of the Ministry by empowering and qualifying beneficiaries of social security services. He added that the empowerment programs that have been approved as part of the recent amendments to the regulation help the beneficiaries who are able to work to turn them into productive and financially independent through training and rehabilitation and their integration into the labor market. Pointing out that these programs will be directed to the age group between 18 and 59 years of beneficiaries and beneficiaries of basic social security or dependents who are able to work and medical care. Al-Mubarak said that the regulation allows for the payment of a full pension to the basic beneficiary, if his salary is three thousand riyals.
