The Ministry of Labor and Social Development announced the launch of the "Social Homes" initiative within the framework of building and empowering initiatives, which seek to implement and activate the latest practices for the care of orphans through their gradual transfer from shelters to social homes in accordance with specific criteria and controls. The initiative aims to orphans with special circumstances and the same of those residing in the housing role of the ministry in all regions of the Kingdom, in order to strengthen their involvement with all segments of society and increase their empowerment and achieve a decent life for them. This initiative is a continuation of the Kingdom's march in caring for orphans and a desire to achieve the highest degree of integration and integration between them and the society by providing a family atmosphere that helps them to overcome the conditions of loss of the foster family and contribute to increase their psychological stability and social start. In the first phase, the project will launch ten model houses in Riyadh, Makkah, Sharqiya and Qassim.
