The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development signs a cooperation agreement with the Wahat Al-Wafa Association to support the elderly "Wafa"

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, represented by the Rehabilitation and Social Guidance Agency, concluded a cooperation agreement with the Wahat Al-Wafa Association to Support the Elderly "Wafa", where the Ministry was represented in this agreement by His Excellency the General Supervisor of the General Administration for Elderly Services, Mr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Muhanna, and the Association represented by His Excellency the Executive Director of the Association A . Btahi bin Sulaiman Al-Buthe.

This agreement comes to strengthen the partnership between the two parties and to provide services aimed at supporting the elderly, support their rights, help in their care, and raise the level of interest in their position and role in society.

The implementation mechanism of the memorandum depends on activating events related to the elderly, including: celebrating the International Day of Older Persons according to the plan approved by the two parties, implementing service and social initiatives, and cooperating by directing financial or in-kind support through community responsibility or development initiatives in line with the goals and directions of the ministry, In addition to joint cooperation in research and survey studies related to the elderly, including services, care and privileges.

It is noteworthy that this agreement falls within the plans of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to establish various partnerships with all sectors of the state and its private institutions in order to improve the quality of services provided to the beneficiary groups, and to achieve the vision of the Kingdom, which emphasized the need for integration between all government and private agencies to serve citizens better.
