The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development signed a memorandum of cooperation with the National Committee for the Care of Prisoners, released persons and their families. The Ministry was represented by the Assistant Undersecretary for Policies and Legislation at the Social Security and Empowerment authority, Dr. Hamad bin Ibrahim Al-Hammad, while the Committee was represented by its Secretary-General, Mr. Saqr bin Mohammad Al-Qarni. Where the signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Undersecretary of Social Security and Empowerment, Eng. Sultan bin Jurais Al-Jurais.

The Memorandum aims to build a strategic relationship between both parties by launching a joint program that supports those registered in social security, benefiting from the development services of the committee, and helping them to become self-reliant and reach financial independence, by studying the situation of security families of prisoners and released prisoners and their families, identifying developmental interventions and finding opportunities empowerment.

Through the conclusion of this Memorandum, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development seeks to strengthen and empower the individual, society and establishments in supporting social responsibility and building strategic partnerships and complementary relations with various sectors of the State and its establishments to achieve its goals and better serve its beneficiaries.
