Lancer meets United Nations resident coordinator in Saudi Arabia

The Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development for Social Development received in her office this morning Ambassador Natalie Faustia, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Ramah welcomed the ambassador and her accompanying delegation and wished them success in their humanitarian and tolerant work. The meeting discussed ways of cooperation and partnership with the national authorities, the Kingdom's efforts in the United Nations and the objectives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development which stems from the vision of the Kingdom and related to the goals of sustainable development. Dr. Al-Rammah pointed out that the ministry is working to raise the efficiency of its knowledge staff and the importance of adhering to the provisions of international treaties and adapting them to local regulations by working and keeping pace with international developments. For her part, Ambassador Foste welcomed the cooperation with the ministry in setting up workshops for ministry employees on the objectives of the initiative to support sustainable development. The Ambassador has worked in the Middle East for the past 20 years.
